This is my eleventh year at Tawas Area Schools. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught various grades. They are 1st, 2nd, 3rd and now 4th.

I was born and raised in Flint and graduated in 2002. I then attended the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor where I received a Bachelor's Degree in History. I received my teaching degree from Eastern Michigan University in 2011.

I am married to Derek Sapikowski.  We have 2 children.  We like to spend our time camping, doing lots of water activities and spending time together. We love to see lots of different things and go lots of different places.
